QM Certifications
Congratulations on committing to quality assurance in online learning!
QM Certified Courses
QM Standards and review processes are recognized nationally and internationally for their support of research and adherence to best practices. These certifications demonstrate a commitment not only to creating an environment of excellence and quality but also to maintaining it.
Courses that carry the QM Certification mark have met QM Standards at a level of 85% or greater in an official review process. Initial certification of a course is valid for 5 years. Recertification of a course is valid for 3 years.
Foundational Design Recognized Courses
Foundational Design Recognized courses have met Essential Standards from the QM Higher Ed Rubric in a QM Preparatory Review or in an institutional review process that met QM Validation Review criteria. While QM Certification is the gold standard for demonstrating course quality and continuous improvement, earning Foundational Design Recognition acknowledges faculty, IDs, departments, and institutions for their work in creating high-quality courses.
